Hasyurt Agriculture Fair, which is described as Turkey’s first agricultural fair, was opened for the 27th time this year in Antalya’s Finike district.
Hasyurt Agriculture Fair in Antalya brought together sector stakeholders for the 27th time
Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin, in his speech at the opening of the fair, said that Antalya comes to mind when it comes to agriculture.
Emphasising that the agricultural sector is successful thanks to the producers, Şahin said, “You send vegetables and fruits to all parts of Turkey in winter. The situation of oranges is not good this year. We have to do agriculture consciously now. Planned and conscious production always saves money. You have fertile lands.”
Mayor of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Muhittin Böcek also stated that they always support all producers.
Stating that they will shed light on the development of agriculture by hosting local and foreign guests at the fair, introducing regional agriculture and local crops, Böcek said, “We will produce qualified agriculture and tourism policies to develop our district in a holistic way.”
The fair, which is attended by approximately 100 companies in the fields of seeds, seedlings, fertilisers and greenhouse cultivation, will remain open for 2 days.
